Christening Gifts

A finely detailed acorn leads a twig shaft to a perfectly formed oak leaf, all handmade from lead-free pewter.
Unusual Christening Gifts

Our stunning and ever popular silver coloured Christening cufflinks come complete with a ribbon tied certificate for you to add your own personal message.
This striking Christening gift for boys is designed to be used and appreciated later in their adult life, perhaps being re-presented on their 18th or 21st birthday.
The “adult size” cufflinks are a lasting keepsake that can be used later in their life, long after the baby clothes have been outgrown and given to the charity shop!
An ideal Christening gift and ideal for Naming Ceremonies too.
Mighty, strong, enduring and steadfast, the oak tree, the very essence of England, symbolises: hospitality, stability, strength, honour, eternity, endurance and liberty.
“Great oaks from little acorns grow” – English Proverb

Each oak leaf is 15 mm (0.6″) wide, acorn diameter at widest point 8 mm (0.3″) the same size as a button so are usable and practical.
The certificate does not specify Christening so it can also be given for other occasions , cufflinks for the Groom for example.
Baptism Gifts

All Glover and Smith Christening designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter).
Because we use solid metal the surface of your Christening cufflinks will never flake like silver plated Christening gifts. To clean just wash with warm soapy water.
All our Christening designs are completely nickel-free and made exclusively by us in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
